Assembler, 2nd Shift

About The Position

We are seeking a mechanical and detail-oriented Assembler to join the production team on the second shift. The role builds, assembles, and installs components for commercial or utility trailers, including fitting structural parts, routing electrical wiring, and installing mechanical systems according to technical blueprints and work orders. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on skills, works well in a fast-paced environment, and focuses on manufacturing quality and safety.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
Dependability.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
Ability to stoop, crawl, bend, crouch, climb, and kneel.
High school education or GED, up to six months of related experience with on-the-job training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Heavy assembly experience.
Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble tube trailers.
Perform general labor.
Perform maintenance and clean-up.
Verify numbers stamped on tubes to be assembled into units.
Clean and prepare surfaces for painting.
Apply masking tape to parts or areas that are not to be painted, or for special two-tone paint.
Coat some areas by hand with brushes and rollers.
Remove plugs from threaded tube necks, clean threads with a power wire brush, lubricate threads, and install mounting flanges.
Mark locations for data plates, drill, and secure them.
Apply decals.
