About The Position
Join BD Pharmaceutical Company as an Assembler 1, General and help us deliver on our mission to advance world health. In this entry-level contractor position, you will train and work alongside a dedicated team, preparing and manufacturing active pharmaceutical ingredients and medical devices. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (must be verified)
- Minimum 4 months of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail
- Willingness to follow structured guidelines and training
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and hand/pallet jacks
- Basic problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to process improvement
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute core production processes under direct supervision
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures
- Transport materials using handling equipment with adherence to safety guidelines
- Monitor work environment for hazards and maintain high housekeeping standards
- Wear required personal protective equipment and report safety incidents immediately
- Complete all required regulatory and operator training
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements
- Remain available for overtime and additional projects as needed
