About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter in Statesville, North Carolina, for the 2026–2027 school year. The interpreter will provide one-on-one ASL interpretation for a student throughout the school day, supporting communication, curriculum access, and social interactions. The role involves collaborating with the student’s educational team. Requirements

• Provide proof of an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct one-on-one ASL interpretation for a student throughout the school day.
• Facilitate communication between the student, peers, and staff.
• Support the student’s access to curriculum and social interactions in the classroom.
• Collaborate with the student’s educational team.
