About The Position

The Asian Marketing Representative attends events, campaigns, and conferences on behalf of Maryland Live! As part of the Asian marketing team, the representative shares information with clients about the company’s products and services. This entry-level marketing and event planning role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, a pleasant and outgoing personality, a professional demeanor, and schedule flexibility. The role requires Chinese bilingual ability in the posting title and overview; the qualifications section separately says Korean or Vietnamese bilingual ability. Compensation is $17.50 per hour. Priority staffing requires availability for at least three shifts per week: Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday, plus one weekday shift from Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

High school diploma or five years of equivalent professional experience.
Bilingual ability; the title and overview specify Chinese, while the qualifications section specifies Korean or Vietnamese.
Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Complete training on promotional systems as directed by a supervisor.
Oversee setup and breakdown for events and promotions.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer customer inquiries.
Manage promotional inventory on the day of execution.
Record customer information in the program database.
Ensure items given to guests are properly redeemed and accounted for on their player accounts using the gaming system.
Assist guests and troubleshoot issues at promotional kiosks during promotions.
Provide the supervisor with a detailed report on event or promotion strengths and opportunities.
Ensure marketing programs are successful from beginning to end.
Offer support and solutions to guests in accordance with company customer service policies.
