About The Position

Dcode is seeking a passionate Program Manager to deliver high-impact programs that enhance how the defense sector client identifies needs, finds solutions, and deploys them quickly to users. This role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, coordinating resources including Dcode Field Experts, and collaborating directly with senior government leaders to achieve results. The Program Manager will refine and implement structures, processes, and workflows to ensure efficient problem-solving and solution delivery. The position requires challenging the status quo, identifying creative improvements, and engaging in diverse tasks such as planning iterative delivery sprints and facilitating stakeholder workshops. It is a fast-paced, meaningful role for someone who excels at execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Comfort with agile project management
  • Experience with government federal budget processes
  • Experience managing client-facing projects from start to finish
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • Comfort working with both technical experts and senior decision-makers
  • The ability to challenge assumptions respectfully and offer better ways forward
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
  • A track record of problem-solving, working independently, and delivering results
  • Security clearance eligibility required

Nice To Haves

  • Active Top Secret security clearance strongly preferred
  • Federal or DoD work preferred

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted partner for federal clients in adopting innovative, agile approaches for their missions.
  • Help design and establish operational structures for rapid technology and solution delivery.
  • Anticipate client needs and collaborate with leadership and Field Experts to develop solutions.
  • Offer creative, practical ideas for improving government operations across policy, acquisitions, finance, culture, and processes to foster agility and innovation.
  • Facilitate workshops, write assessments, and translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Collect and act on feedback to continuously enhance the client experience.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery for assigned workstreams, producing high-quality deliverables and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify and track client outcomes to ensure Dcode provides significant value.
  • Apply agile principles to plan, execute, and adapt projects based on real-time feedback.
  • Identify and help implement automation opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Coordinate closely with Field Experts to integrate relevant expertise into projects.
  • Track progress against milestones and communicate updates clearly and frequently to stakeholders.
  • Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements.
  • Track performance data and user feedback to refine workflows.
  • Support efforts to remove policy, contracting, and operational barriers.
  • Understand and manage contract terms to ensure compliance.
  • Understand the PPBE process and federal program budgeting.
  • Flag risks early and work with leadership to resolve them quickly.
  • Implement solutions that make delivery more efficient and scalable.
