About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Prescott, Arizona. The officer will safeguard the site by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access, and responding to security-related concerns. The role includes interacting with employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers while helping create a welcoming environment and following site-specific procedures and policies. Officers are expected to communicate clearly and prepare accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns.

Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific security procedures and policies.
Conduct armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries.
Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations, following emergency response protocols.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
