About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Access Control in Dallas, Texas, you will safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct access control and badge-related activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. The role involves delivering customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. This is a full-time position paying $22.00 per hour, with a Monday–Friday day schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Texas Level III Armed Certification.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following post orders and escalation procedures.
Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Maintain required reports and documentation.
Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site policies, and company procedures.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
