About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an Armed Response Security Officer for a site in Rome, Georgia. The role involves assessing surroundings, anticipating risks, patrolling sensitive environments, and responding to emergencies and security incidents. Officers may work in settings such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. The listed schedule is 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday, totaling 24 hours per week. The role pays $24.00 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Have 2–5 years of law enforcement or military experience.
• Have 2–5 years of armed security experience.
• Have open availability for all shifts and days, including weekends.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency callouts or provide site coverage.
• Patrol sensitive areas and look for suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
