About The Position

Primoris Services Corporation is hiring a Concrete Foreman based out of its Grand Junction, Colorado office. The position requires frequent travel throughout Colorado’s western slope. Q3 Contracting (Q3C), a division of Primoris Services Corporation, provides construction contracting services in the gas, oil, electric, and telecommunications industries.

The Concrete Foreman leads field operations and supervises work crews to complete scheduled work safely, on time, and within budget. The role also involves monitoring progress against project schedules and operating and maintaining construction equipment. This is a union position; compensation and benefits are determined by the union contract and experience. A company vehicle is provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Prior construction knowledge.
• Understand industry fundamentals and dangers.
• Understand safety zones while working around equipment such as backhoes, bore rigs, and air compressors.
• Subject to drug testing.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of restoration and concrete procedures.
• At least 1 year of experience directly supervising employees.
• At least 3 years of experience working in construction or the utility distribution industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise work crews daily to complete scheduled work safely and on time.
• Lead and take responsibility for field operations.
• Ensure crew work meets project timelines and budget.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and report progress to management.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment of various sizes.
