About The Position
Provide a safe and welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors while protecting company assets at a retail location. Serve as a visible security presence focused on customer service, conflict resolution, de-escalation, and incident prevention. Use sound judgment and professionalism to resolve situations without physical interaction. The position is available full-time, part-time, or on-call. Work is across multiple locations in the Portland metro area, including Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas Counties. Day and swing shifts are available; preference is given to applicants willing to work any shift, including graveyard shifts. The employer provides uniforms and equipment. The guard must provide their own firearm and lease it to the company; firearms must be on the company’s approved list.
Requirements
- Must be able to provide a personal firearm and lease it to the company.
- Firearm must be on the company’s approved list.

- Current security license preferred.
