About The Position

The Armed Security Guard provides security services at assigned client sites during scheduled shifts, helping ensure the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets. Schedule, site assignments, and hours may change based on client needs, staffing requirements, call-offs, and contract adjustments. Flexibility is essential, including availability for additional shifts and on-call or emergency coverage when needed. The role involves conducting patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, following client security protocols, documenting and reporting incidents, and maintaining professional interactions with clients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active OPOTA certification.
• Own a firearm and a Level 2 retention holster or higher.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work changing schedules and sites, including additional shifts and on-call or emergency coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide security services at assigned client sites to protect personnel, premises, and assets.
• Work various shifts and at different client sites as needed; schedules and locations may change based on operational needs.
• Maintain professionalism in interactions with clients, visitors, and staff, fostering a positive and secure environment.
• Conduct regular site patrols and monitor surveillance equipment in accordance with client security protocols.
• Document incidents, security breaches, and irregularities accurately, and promptly report them to appropriate personnel.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Silver Star leadership team.
• Work scheduled shifts and provide additional, on-call, or emergency coverage when needed.
