About The Position

Silver Star Protection Group is hiring a full-time Armed Security Guard to provide security services at client sites in the Boardman / Youngstown, Ohio area. The guard is responsible for the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets during scheduled shifts. Work schedules, hours, and site assignments may change based on client needs, staffing requirements, call-offs, and contract adjustments, so flexibility is essential. Guards may be asked to work additional shifts, including on-call or emergency coverage. Silver Star Protection Group (SSPG), established in 2014 and headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, provides physical security, security system integration, consultation, and secure transport services to industries including cannabis, commercial real estate, construction, and data centers. The company’s leadership team has backgrounds in law enforcement, the military, and business. The position pays $20.00. Weekly pay is issued on Fridays. Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as personal time off, are available after 90 days. A referral bonus is also offered. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active OPOTA certification.
Own a firearm and a level 2 retention holster or higher.
Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Previous armed security or related experience.

Responsibilities

Provide security services at assigned client sites to protect personnel, premises, and assets.
Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed; schedules and locations may change based on operational needs.
Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients, visitors, and staff.
Conduct regular site patrols and monitor surveillance equipment in accordance with client security protocols.
Document incidents, security breaches, and irregularities accurately and promptly report them to appropriate personnel.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Silver Star leadership team.
Work additional shifts, including on-call or emergency coverage, when needed.
