About The Position

GardaWorld provides services across the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash recycler services. The company operates an extensive armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves more than $8 billion in cash daily while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise.

The Armed Driver Messenger is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting valuables in an armored vehicle. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers, and following high standards of driver safety in all weather and traffic conditions. Employees must remain vigilant to protect customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the permits or licenses required by state regulations. The job requires heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

The stated schedule is Monday through Friday on the second shift. Pay is listed as $17 per hour without a firearms license, $20 per hour with an active ACT 235 firearms license, and up to $27 per hour with an active firearms license or relevant work experience.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid, clean driver's license.
• Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Have strong customer-service skills.
• Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
• Maintain any necessary licenses required to work as an armored truck driver/messenger.

Responsibilities
