About The Position

GardaWorld provides cash-management solutions across the cash supply chain, including secure transportation, cash management, cash-vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash-recycler services. The company operates an extensive armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves more than $8 billion in cash every day while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise.

The Armed Driver/Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers, and following strict safety and security practices while driving in all weather conditions. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the licenses required for their area. This full-time role has a five-day work week that includes weekends. Heavy lifting is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid, clean driver’s license.
• Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Have strong customer-service skills.
• Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables.
• Interact professionally with customers and develop rapport consistent with the company’s customer-service standards.
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
• Follow driver-safety requirements in all weather conditions and remain vigilant for the safety of customers, colleagues, and the community.
• Operate large vehicles in varied weather and traffic conditions.
• Obtain and maintain the required licenses for armed armored-vehicle work.
