Armed Driver Messenger
About The Position
The Armed Driver Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables. The role involves driving an armored truck, interacting professionally with customers, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify each transfer. Employees must prioritize safety and security, follow driver-safety practices in all weather and traffic conditions, and remain vigilant for customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the licenses required by state regulations. Heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more is required.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid, clean driver’s license.
- Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Have strong customer-service skills and communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
