Armed Driver/Messenger
About The Position
GardaWorld is hiring an Armed Driver/Messenger to transport valuables safely and efficiently in an armored truck. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, developing rapport, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify each transfer. Safety and security are priorities; employees must follow driver-safety practices in all weather conditions and remain vigilant for customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must have and maintain the permits or licenses required for their area. The position pays $23.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Operations run Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. The role requires heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more and operating large vehicles in varying weather and traffic conditions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a valid, clean driver's license.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
