About The Position

GardaWorld provides cash-management solutions across the cash supply chain, including secure transportation, cash management, vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash recycler services. The company operates an extensive armored-vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and transports more than $8 billion in cash every day, with 24/7 client support.

The Armed Driver/Messenger safely and efficiently transports valuables, interacts professionally with customers, and issues and receives confirmation receipts to verify each transfer. The role requires adherence to driver-safety standards in all weather conditions and vigilance to protect customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the licenses required for their area. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. Pay is $18.50–$20.50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Strong customer-service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables.
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
• Interact professionally with customers and develop rapport consistent with customer-service standards.
• Follow driver-safety requirements in all weather conditions.
• Remain vigilant to protect customers, colleagues, and the community.
• Obtain and maintain the required licenses for armed work in the applicable area.
