About The Position

GardaWorld’s Armed Driver Messenger safely and efficiently transports valuables in an armored vehicle. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, developing rapport, issuing and receiving confirmation receipts for transfers, and following stringent driver-safety and security practices in all weather conditions. Employees must hold and maintain the guard and firearm permits or licenses required by state regulations. Heavy lifting is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid, clean driver's license.
• Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Have strong customer service skills.
• Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport valuables in an armored vehicle.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide customer service that meets company standards.
• Issue and receive confirmation receipts to verify each transfer.
• Follow driver-safety and security practices in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Remain vigilant for the safety of customers, colleagues, and the community.
• Maintain the guard and firearm permits or licenses required by state regulations.
