About The Position

The Armed Driver/Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, developing rapport, and meeting high customer-service standards. The employee issues and receives confirmation receipts to verify each transfer and follows strict driver-safety practices in all weather conditions, remaining vigilant for customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and the employee must have and maintain the licenses required to work in the area. The position requires comfort operating large vehicles in varied weather and traffic conditions and performing heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more. The company operates Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed. The listed hourly pay is $18.50–$20.50, based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a valid, clean driver's license.
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
Strong customer-service skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
