Armed Driver Messenger
About The Position
The Armed Driver Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables in an armored truck. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, building rapport, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify each transfer. Employees must follow high driver-safety standards in all weather and remain vigilant to protect customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, so employees must obtain and maintain the permits or licenses required by state regulations. The position requires heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more and operating large vehicles in varied weather and traffic conditions.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid, clean driver’s license.
- Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Have strong customer-service skills and communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
