Armed Driver Messenger
About The Position
The Armed Driver Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables in an armored truck. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, building rapport, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers. Safety and security are priorities, and the employee must follow safe driving practices in all weather conditions while remaining vigilant for customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and the employee must obtain and maintain the permits or licenses required by state regulations. The work requires operating a large vehicle and lifting more than 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a valid, clean driver's license.
- Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Have strong customer service skills.
- Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
