About The Position
GardaWorld provides cash-management solutions across the cash supply chain, including secured transportation, cash management, vault processing, forecasting, ATM, and cash-recycler services. It operates an armored vehicle fleet and processes, manages, and moves over $8 billion in cash daily while providing 24/7 client support and logistical expertise. The Armed Driver Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, developing rapport, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify transfers. Employees must follow strict driver-safety practices in all weather conditions and remain vigilant for the safety of customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the permits or licenses required by state regulations. This is a full-time, day-shift position scheduled four days per week, including one weekend. Heavy lifting is required. Listed pay rates are $17.50 per hour without a firearms license, $18.50 per hour with an active firearms license, and $21–$22 per hour with an active firearms license or relevant work experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
- Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
- Strong customer-service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by radio.
- Willingness to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.
