About The Position

The Armed Driver Messenger is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of valuables. The role involves interacting professionally with customers, building rapport, and issuing and receiving confirmation receipts to verify each transfer. Employees must follow high driver-safety standards in all weather and remain vigilant to protect customers, colleagues, and the community. All positions are armed, and employees must obtain and maintain the licenses or permits required by state regulations. Heavy lifting is required.

The position is full-time and scheduled Monday through Friday on the day shift. Listed hourly rates are $19.61 without a firearms license, $22.19 with an active firearms license, and up to $25.80 with an active firearms license or relevant work experience.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid, clean driver’s license.
• Have or be able to obtain and maintain active guard and firearm permits or licenses as required by state regulations.
• Have strong customer-service skills.
• Communicate effectively in person and by radio.
• Be willing to operate large vehicles in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Be able to perform heavy lifting of 50 pounds or more.

Nice To Haves

• An active firearms license or relevant work experience may qualify for the listed rate of up to $25.80 per hour.
