About The Position

Grupo Eulen is hiring an Area Operations Supervisor for janitorial services in Tallahassee, Florida. This full-time, on-site role manages a diverse, non-union workforce that includes site supervisors, cleaners, day porters, and floor technicians. The supervisor oversees client relations and janitorial operations across an assigned territory, adjusting work hours to accommodate daytime client meetings and inspections as well as evening and overnight operations. The position includes coaching and supporting staff, conducting facility audits, identifying opportunities to sell additional services, and leading overnight crew safety training. The role requires knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and floor-care equipment, along with the ability to meet clients during the day and work varied shifts. The stated salary is $47,000 per year.

Requirements

Two to three years of experience in janitorial or facilities operations.
One to two years of experience in a supervisory role.
Willingness to work a varied schedule bridging day and night shifts.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods and floor-care equipment.
Basic computer skills.
Clear communication in English and/or Spanish.
High school diploma.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Manage, coach, and support site supervisors, cleaners, porters, and floor technicians.
Visit clients during the day, inspect facilities, and perform audits.
Actively upsell additional services and special projects.
Lead safety training and ensure compliance with OSHA and chemical safety standards.
Manage territory operations while balancing daytime client meetings with evening and night operations.
