About The Position

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time Area Service Representative to deliver products and service displays and equipment for established retail accounts. The role follows an assigned route and ensures rental displays at multiple retail locations are clean, stocked, and well maintained. Service stops include inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental machines. The representative may also implement improved processes and procedures as needed, while providing safe, confident, customer-friendly service consistent with Rug Doctor’s mission.

The role requires independent work in a fast-paced environment and overnight travel of one to two nights per month depending on company needs. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 38–40 hours per week, with Saturday work as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Be able to bend, stoop, kneel, lift or raise up to 50 pounds from ground to higher levels, and manually push or pull up to 75 pounds.
• Be able to work in different climates, including hot and cold conditions.
• Be able to drive a vehicle for consecutive hours in a day.
• Be available for overnight travel one to two nights per month, depending on company needs.
• Be available to work full time, 38–40 hours Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed.
• Have a desire to learn and practice company standards.
• Have friendly, exceptional communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• Be customer-service oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Be able to work independently and solve problems.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Consent to a criminal background inquiry, complete a non-DOT physical, and pass a drug screen to qualify for and be considered for employment.

• A successful record of accomplishment and the ability to self-manage productivity.
