About The Position

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time Area Service Representative to deliver products and service displays and equipment for established retail accounts. The representative maintains rental displays at multiple retail locations along an assigned route, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and well maintained. Service stops include inspecting, cleaning, and servicing rental machines. The role may also implement improved processes and procedures as needed, while delivering friendly, customer-focused service consistent with Rug Doctor’s mission.

The position is suited to a responsible self-starter who can work independently, manage productivity in a fast-paced environment, and solve problems. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 38–40 hours per week, with Saturday work as needed. The route requires overnight travel one to two nights per month, depending on company needs.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting or raising up to 50 pounds from the ground to higher levels, and manually pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in different climates, including hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to drive a vehicle for consecutive hours in a day.
• Available for full-time work, 38–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with Saturday work as needed.
• Available for overnight travel one to two nights per month, depending on company needs.
• Friendly, with exceptional communication skills and an outgoing personality.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work independently and solve problems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to learn and practice company standards.
