About The Position

The Area Sales Executive, MOD Large Project Center is responsible for pursuing and capturing the Area’s largest and most complex modernization opportunities. The role leads the strategic efforts to both capital plan and modernize the existing portfolio to retain and build a more profitable service base, while also driving recovery efforts. Serves as the SME and dedicated support to the Area’s MOD LPC sales.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Accounting, preferred.
• 10+ years of E&E Modernization sales experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite software, Lotus Notes, SAP
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Travel required to district offices in assigned Area, as needed; varies

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit of major modernization projects from early opportunity identification through contract award.
• Conduct specification reviews, scope development, and bid strategy preparation for complex modernization programs.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Field Modernization teams to ensure large project proposals are technically sound and executable.
• Maintain forecasting visibility for large project opportunities.
• Identify and pursue large modernization opportunities within high-rise buildings and institutional portfolios.
• Target aging equipment in competitor-controlled high-rise portfolios and develop recovery strategies.
• Partner with the Area Modernization Sales Manager to identify LPC opportunities within the broader modernization pipeline.
• Build strong relationships with vertical transportation consultants, developers, property owners, and general contractors.
• Manage responses to consultant-driven tenders and market bids.
• Conduct consultant outreach and lunch-and-learn programs to influence modernization specifications and strengthen market presence.
• Support local office MOD Sales Rep training, technical interpretation, and bid strategy development for large modernization opportunities.
• Work with Headquarters, R&D, and global product teams to develop solutions that strengthen competitiveness in complex modernization opportunities.
