INTRODUCTION TO ROLE: As an Area Operations Manager, you’ll be the captain steering multiple properties toward success. You’ll partner with property leaders, keep operations smooth, and ensure every location hits its goals. Think of yourself as the coach, mentor, and strategist—helping teams shine while keeping standards high.

Requirements

  • Proven hospitality management experience with strong results
  • Leadership skills that inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication—both written and verbal
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, inventory, and customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software
  • Willingness to travel within your area (about 50%)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations across multiple properties in your area
  • Craft and execute strategies to drive growth and revenue

  • Train, coach, and support property leaders and their teams

  • Handle escalated guest concerns with professionalism and care
  • Collaborate with marketing, HR, accounting, and FP&A to hit company goals
  • Report on performance, trends, and opportunities to senior leadership
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor moves
