Brown & Brown is seeking an Area Manager to join our growing team in Arlington, TX! This role involves seeking out new accounts and servicing existing accounts by helping clients choose warranty setups that best suit their needs. The Area Manager will also develop clientele by networking, interviewing prospective clients, and explaining product/service portfolios. A key part of the role includes calling on F&I Managers in RV and Auto dealerships to explain plans, analyze their offerings, and suggest improvements to their selling techniques. Additionally, the Area Manager will train dealers on sales and F&I processes and attend trade shows to promote company lines of business.

Requirements

  • Minimum education High school diploma
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service.
  • 1 – 3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Valid driver's license

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Seek out new accounts and service existing accounts for the agency by helping clients choose warranty setups that best suit their needs.
  • Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking to find new customers and generate lists of prospective clients.
  • Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the person or property, and to discuss existing service plan coverage.
  • Select company that offers type of coverage requested by client.
  • Ensure that plan requirements are fulfilled, including the completion of appropriate forms.
  • Call on F&I Managers in RV and Auto dealerships to explain plans, to analyze and to suggest additions or changes to their selling technique.
  • Explain necessary bookkeeping requirements for dealer to implement and provide program.
  • Confer with clients to obtain and provide information when claims are made on a policy.
  • Monitor insurance claims to ensure they are settled equitable for both the client and the insurer.
  • Attend meetings, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, learn new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts.
  • Train dealers on sales and F&I processes as needed.
  • Attend trade shows to promote company lines of business.
