LineQuest, LLC is currently seeking a n experienced underground Utility Line Locator Area Manager for f ull -t ime opportunities . Our Area Manager work independently in the field using our company-provided vehicle. In addition, you will utilize our state-of-the-art ticket and claims management system. JOB SUMMARY: In this important role as an Area Manager, you would be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and providing field supervision for all technicians assigned in your defined geographic territory. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring assigned locators are completing their assigned tickets by their due dates while maintaining positive employee, client, and public relations. This is a full-time position and overtime will be required.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of line locating experience is preferred
  • 1 - 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Effective verbal and listening skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Time management skills
  • Must have/maintain a valid Driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening
  • Job knowledge/Responsibilities/Productivity

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, scheduling, and providing field supervision for all technicians assigned in your defined geographic territory.
  • Ensuring assigned locators are completing their assigned tickets by their due dates while maintaining positive employee, client, and public relations.
  • Adhere to company policies
  • Ensure that all devices are properly working daily
  • Be able to follow driving directions from 811 One-Calls
  • Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable, gas, water, and sewer system
  • Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, accurately marking location and completing
