About The Position

The Area Director of Human Resources will balance property-specific and corporate HR priorities while executing enterprise-wide HR programs and initiatives. This role provides strategic support to property leadership, offering coaching, talent assessments, and development plans to build high-performing teams. The Area Director will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, cultivate diverse and qualified talent pipelines, drive equitable compensation practices, and oversee annual merit review processes. Additionally, they will champion associate relations, lead investigations, ensure policy compliance and ethics adherence, and oversee compliance functions such as AAPs, CBAs (if applicable), and safety/Workers’ Compensation programs.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR leadership experience
  • Strong HR generalist background
  • Multi-property and/or hospitality experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS platforms (Workday preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and listening skills
  • Bilingual capabilities (based on market needs)

  • Oversee compliance functions, including AAPs, CBAs (if applicable), and safety/Workers’ Compensation programs, ensuring alignment with local and federal regulations.
