About The Position

Manage and grow corporate accounts production for a group of hotels, by soliciting new business and saturating existing client relationships, ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. Maximize revenue by selling all facets of a group of hotels to previous, current, and potential clients. Manage business travel accounts and opportunities, ensuring pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing are complete and documented. Build and maintain consistent volume from existing accounts and travel agents; maintain strong working relationships with meeting planners, corporate travel managers, procurement officers, and other decision-makers and influencers. Actively solicit new accounts based on market intelligence, past accounts, and comp set accounts. Solicit organizations for inclusion into their hotel travel program through personal calls, site inspections, tele-prospecting/email- prospecting, blitzing, and sales trips to assigned territories. Leverage advanced business intelligence tools and active participation in industry associations to monitor market trends, identify emerging corporate and group opportunities, and maintain a competitive edge across the portfolio. Use professional sales techniques to negotiate the best possible terms and conditions that meet customer requirements (internal and external) and positively impact hotel performance. Create and complete strategic sales action plans that will address the direct needs of the segments and the hotel. Build and maintain consistent volume from existing corporate accounts and travel agents; maintain good working relationships with corporate travel managers, procurement officers, business travel agents, and other decision makers and influencers. Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition. Participate in trade shows, industry functions, and networking events as scheduled. Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related industry preferred.
  • Previous hospitality sales experience preferred.
