About The Position

Riverside Management & Financial Services, Inc. is hiring an Architectural Review Committee (ARC) Coordinator for a newly developed community in Madera, California. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Association’s architectural review process. The ARC coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, contractors, the Board of Directors, and ARC members.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of California HOA laws and community association practices.
  • Experience in architectural review software or HOA management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to adjust tone as necessary.
  • Comfortability engaging with members while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.

Nice To Haves

  • CACM or related industry certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in HOA, resort-style, or active adult communities is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize and process architectural applications for homeowner improvements.
  • Review applications to ensure all required plans, documents, and supporting materials are provided before committee review.
  • Coordinate Architectural Review Committee meetings including preparing agendas, application packets, meeting materials, and minutes.
  • Distribute applications and supporting documents to ARC members for review and consideration.
  • Follow up with incomplete applications, required revisions, conditions of approval and any other outstanding items.
  • Conduct community inspections and sit visits to monitor approved projects and verify completed work is consistent with approved plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of architectural applications, inspections, correspondence and property histories.
  • Respond to homeowner questions regarding the architectural review process, requirements and community guidelines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling homeowner information, disputes and association matters.
  • Perform other administrative and community management duties as assigned.
