About The Position

Weston & Sampson is seeking an Architectural Project Manager with over 15 years of experience to join our Facility group. This role will involve managing architectural design projects, supporting other engineering discipline groups within the company, and contributing to the growth of the facility group's project base. The position is available in our Foxborough or Reading, Massachusetts offices.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of substantial experience as a productive member of a project design team.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • REVIT/BIM fluency is mandatory.
  • Strong Construction experience and knowledge of architectural technical detailing.
  • Thorough knowledge of building codes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication & presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead a project team and guide production of construction documents, including coordination with internal and external engineering disciplines.
  • Professional degree required.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience with AutoCAD desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage architectural design projects for the Facility group's clients.
  • Support the company's other engineering discipline groups.
  • Participate in and contribute to the expansion of the facility group's growing project base.
  • Lead and support multi-disciplinary project teams in the planning and design of new and renovated facilities.
  • Oversee all phases of project development from programming and conceptual planning through construction document preparation and construction administration.
  • Work directly with clients to establish project and programming needs.
  • Support projects through budgeting and permitting processes, including working with estimators, leading projects through permitting agencies and committees, and assisting clients in acquiring funding.
  • Provide architectural support to other Weston & Sampson discipline groups.
  • Participate in professional organizations and internal committees and/or groups.
  • Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Mentor and guide the development of junior staff.
  • Participate in the growth of our Architectural practice.
