About The Position

CMA Architects & Engineers LLC is a full-service engineering and architecture design firm with over 65 years of experience. We are looking for a Full Time Architect to assist the Architecture Department Lead in the design, development, and execution of architectural projects, primarily in the commercial and institutional markets.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
Active professional registration (Architect in Training, AIT or Registered Architect, RA).
Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools.
Basic knowledge of codes, regulations and/or industry standards.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
Creativity and innovation in solving design challenges.
Ability to prioritize/manage multiple tasks and adapt to tight deadlines.
Portfolio required as part of the application.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar role or professional internships in architectural firms preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in the conceptualization and design of architectural projects based on client needs and project guidelines.
Create and review architectural drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
Research building codes, regulations, and local ordinances to ensure compliance.
Prepare visual presentations, 3D models, and renderings to communicate design concepts.
Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and other project team members.
Support the preparation of technical documentation and specifications for bidding and construction.
Conduct site visits to inspect progress and document observations related to design.
Collaborate on developing technical and design solutions throughout various project phases to achieve desired design approach.
