About The Position
Apex Entertainment is seeking an Arcade/Game Technician to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot arcade machines and equipment. The technician helps ensure that classic cabinets and newer video games operate reliably and provide guests with an enjoyable entertainment experience. The role involves scheduled and corrective maintenance, component installations and calibration, inventory management, recordkeeping, cleanliness, safety compliance, and supporting facility operations. It requires flexible availability, including days, nights, and weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move more than 50 pounds.
- Strong troubleshooting, technical, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves
- Mechanical or arcade maintenance background preferred.
- Previous experience repairing arcade games is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair arcade game malfunctions, software issues, wiring problems, and hardware failures.
- Perform corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and extend machine life.
- Record daily repairs and maintenance tasks for tracking and compliance.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to maintain machine functionality and visual appeal.
- Install and calibrate card readers and upgraded components on arcade machines.
- Follow maintenance schedules to ensure machines meet standards.
- Monitor and manage arcade parts inventory and equipment supplies.
- Run weekly and monthly payout percentage calibrations.
- Order, receive, and install replacement parts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized arcade and technician workspace.
- Ensure machines are clean, filled, and ready for guest use.
- Organize spare parts and tools for efficient repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Keep logs and checklists updated for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections.
- Assist with additional facility tasks as directed by management.
- Collaborate with other departments to support smooth operations.
