About The Position

The Arcade Attendant helps create a fun, safe, and memorable guest experience at a family entertainment center. The role involves providing customer service, supporting arcade operations, maintaining equipment and merchandise, and keeping the environment clean and organized. The attendant reports to the General Manager for assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and accurately handle cash, credit, and vouchers.
• Stay informed about promotions, returns, exchanges, and security procedures.
• Maintain records of daily sales and transactions.
• Monitor the arcade floor for safety concerns and address observed security risks.
• Answer guest questions about games, activities, and merchandise.
• Load tickets and prizes into machines and restock merchandise displays.
• Demonstrate and explain arcade games or products to guests.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate them when necessary.
• Clean games, tables, counters, and shelves.
• Conduct inventory and assist with stocking items.
• Troubleshoot and clear token or ticket jams.
• Support minor game maintenance and assist with moving games or equipment.
• Take out trash and assist with general cleanliness and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
