About The Position

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a full-time Arborist Representative to join its growing team. The role combines arboriculture knowledge and client relationship development to support business growth. The representative visits client properties, assesses tree and shrub care needs, and provides scientific recommendations. The position covers sales and related activities within a defined territory and involves working with residential and commercial clients.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to learn to identify regional trees and shrubs, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective actions or proactive management plans.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage all areas of sales within a defined territory, including selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training.
• Meet daily with existing and potential residential and commercial clients to evaluate their tree and shrub care needs.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships within the territory.
• Prepare and provide client proposals using sales process tools, software, and other technologies.
• Supervise work to ensure jobs are completed according to the signed contract and to the client's satisfaction.
• Set personal sales expectations with the immediate supervisor and work toward meeting sales goals.
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs.
