About The Position

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a full-time Arborist Representative to develop and maintain long-term client relationships while helping grow the business. The role combines arboriculture knowledge with sales and client service. The representative visits residential and commercial properties, assesses tree and shrub care needs, and provides scientific recommendations. The position covers all sales activities in a defined territory and includes supervising work to ensure it meets the signed contract and client expectations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales within a defined territory, including selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training.
• Meet daily with existing and prospective residential and commercial clients to evaluate tree and shrub care needs.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships within the territory.
• Prepare and provide proposals using sales-process tools, software, and other technologies.
• Supervise work to ensure jobs are completed according to the signed contract and to the client's satisfaction.
• Set personal sales expectations with the immediate supervisor and work to meet sales goals.
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs.
