About The Position

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a full-time Arborist Representative to develop and maintain long-term client relationships and help grow its business. The role combines arboriculture knowledge with sales and client service. The representative visits residential and commercial properties, assesses tree and shrub care needs, and provides scientific recommendations. The position covers sales and service within a defined territory and includes supervising work to ensure it follows signed contracts and meets client expectations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Ability to learn to identify regional trees and shrubs, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective actions or proactive management plans.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales within a defined territory, including selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training.
• Meet daily with existing and potential residential and commercial clients to evaluate their tree and shrub care needs.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships within the territory.
• Prepare and provide client proposals using sales-process tools, software, and other technologies.
• Supervise work to ensure jobs are completed according to signed contracts and to the client’s satisfaction.
• Set personal sales expectations with the immediate supervisor and work to meet sales goals.
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs.
