About The Position

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a full-time Arborist Representative to join its team. The role combines arboriculture knowledge with client relationship development and supports business growth within a defined territory. The representative visits residential and commercial client properties to assess tree and shrub care needs, then provides scientific recommendations and proposals. The position also involves supervising work to ensure it follows the signed contract and meets client expectations, as well as supporting sales, marketing, customer service, administration, production, training, and safety and compliance programs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification or the ability to obtain it.
• Ability to learn to identify regional trees and shrubs, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective actions or proactive management plans.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales across a defined territory, including selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training.
• Meet daily with existing and potential residential and commercial clients to evaluate their tree and shrub care needs.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships within the territory.
• Prepare and provide client proposals using sales process tools, software, and other technologies.
• Supervise work to ensure it is completed according to the signed contract and to the client's satisfaction.
• Set personal sales expectations with the immediate supervisor and work toward sales goals.
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs.
