About The Position

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a full-time Arborist Representative to build and maintain long-term client relationships while helping grow the business. The role combines arboriculture knowledge, sales, and client service. The representative visits residential and commercial properties, evaluates tree and shrub care needs, and recommends scientific care plans. The position covers a defined territory and includes sales, marketing, administration, production coordination, and training responsibilities.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience.
• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to learn to identify regional trees and shrubs, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective actions or proactive management plans.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales activities within a defined territory, including selling, marketing, customer service, administration, production, and training.
• Meet daily with existing and prospective residential and commercial clients to evaluate tree and shrub care needs.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and client relationships within the territory.
• Prepare and present client proposals using sales-process tools, software, and other technologies.
• Supervise the work performed and ensure jobs follow signed contracts and meet client expectations.
• Set sales expectations with the immediate supervisor and work to meet sales goals.
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs.
