About The Position

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort is seeking an Aquatics and Recreation Supervisor to oversee aquatics, recreation, and winter fun park operations. This hands-on supervisory role is active throughout the day and is responsible for supporting a safe, memorable guest experience, training and certifying lifeguards through the StarGuard program, and supervising and training a team of up to 80 attendants.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in an aquatics, recreation, or ski operations position.
• Customer service experience.
• Flexible work availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to swim 200 yards.
• Ability to perform work that may include lifting, loading and unloading guests, and extended periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, or kneeling in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, or snow.

Nice To Haves

• Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications are a plus; in-house training or recertification is available for the right candidate.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise staff for Big Splash Indoor Water Park, Mountain Tubing, Rockwall, Euro Bungee, Lake Front, Sports Shack, Laser Tag, and Winter Fun Park operations, including ski instruction, small lift operations, ice skating, snow tubing, and ski rentals.
• Monitor weekly team schedules, assist in finding coverage, and approve shift trades.
• Respond to guest and staff first-aid calls in accordance with StarGuard protocols and document incidents properly.
• Address guest and staff complaints and resolve problems while maintaining positive guest relations.
• Enforce policies, rules, and regulations for guests and staff.
• Oversee daily completion of required company and state operating inspections and checklists, including first aid, inventory, opening and closing, and training.
• Complete special projects or other related duties as assigned by management.
