About The Position
This posting is for a Student Part-Time Professor position for the course LIN4725 A - Production de la parole during the Winter 2027 semester. The course covers the anatomical, physiological, and neurological substrates of speech and hearing production, phonetics in light of these substrates, and the ontogeny and phylogeny of speech, as well as speech sciences and applications. The course will be offered in person.
Requirements
- Doctorate in linguistics
- Experience in teaching speech production
- An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
- Must be a student eligible for the Student Part-Time Professor role.
Nice To Haves
- Competence in a second language (passive)
Responsibilities
- Teaching the course LIN4725 A - Production de la parole
- Delivering lectures during the scheduled course time (Thursday 14:30-17:30)
- Potentially completing mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
