About The Position

The Zimbrick Honda Apprentice participates in American Honda-certified training while working with the Zimbrick Honda Technician Educator Team. The role develops the skills needed for a career as a Honda technician, with opportunities for career advancement, recognition, and monetary rewards. The training program provides foundational and advanced knowledge, skills, and on-the-job experience toward becoming a Certified Honda technician. The apprentice assists with vehicle inspections and repairs, performs express services and light mechanical work, and helps prepare new vehicles for delivery. The position includes paid in-house and manufacturer training, mentorship, tools and support, and access to current technology.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Participate in certified trainings through American Honda and develop skills with the Zimbrick Honda Technician Educator Team.
Assist Technician Educators with inspecting and repairing pre-owned Honda vehicles.
Perform express services, fluid maintenance, and light mechanical repairs on customer vehicles.
Perform quick and thorough multipoint vehicle inspections to allow time for additional service recommendations during the visit.
Perform pre-delivery inspections and install accessories on new vehicles.
Develop the skills necessary to become a successful Honda technician.
