About The Position

Mollie Stone’s Markets is seeking a Produce Clerk at its Sausalito location. The role is for a customer-service-driven, flexible team member who may work in the Deli or another department as store needs require. The position performs fresh-cut fruit and vegetable preparation, follows sanitation and food-safety practices, checks deliveries and restocked products for freshness and quality, rotates produce, and maintains department signage and appearance. Local candidates only; applicants must be from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Requirements

Passion for unique, fresh food and a team-centered attitude.
Ability to identify produce quality or freshness by sight or smell.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand upright for up to eight hours per day.
Availability for a flexible shift, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Perform fresh-cut fruit and vegetable preparation, sanitation, and food-safety tasks.
Ensure product freshness and quality upon delivery and restocking.
Monitor and maintain proper rotation of fresh produce.
Update and maintain product signage and department appearance.
Deliver exceptional customer service.
Work in the Deli or other departments as assigned based on store needs.
