About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level Jeweler Apprentices to join its Field Design & Service Center teams. The role provides a full training program to develop skills from Apprentice to Jeweler, with the opportunity to progress toward becoming a Bench Jeweler in a promote-from-within environment.

Apprentices learn the business through administrative responsibilities, customer service, interactions with stores and customers, clerical work, jewelry photography for intake and tracking, and the basics of jewelry repair, beginning with polishing and quality control. Candidates with basic jewelry or jewelry-repair knowledge are welcome, and candidates with a passion and desire to learn the trade will also be considered. The team is dedicated to providing a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design preferred, but not required.
• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• Ability to work varying hours, including some nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with customers and stores.
