About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level Apprentice Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Apprentices learn the business from the ground up while completing administrative and customer service responsibilities and training in the basics of jewelry repair, with the goal of progressing toward becoming a Bench Jeweler. The company provides a full training program and a promote-from-within opportunity to advance from apprentice to artisan. Candidates with a passion for learning the jeweler trade are considered, including those without prior jewelry experience.

Design & Service Center Team Members deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. The full-time work week is 40 hours, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours that include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Seasonal overtime is required.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design.
• Basic jewelry or jewelry repair knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with stores and customers.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
• Learn the basics of jewelry repair, beginning with polishing and quality control.
• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
• Contribute to a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.
