About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level Apprentice Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Apprentices learn the business and jewelry trade through a full training program designed to help them develop from apprentice to Bench Jeweler and progress toward artisan-level skills in a promote-from-within environment.

The role includes customer service and interaction with stores and customers, administrative and clerical work, photographing jewelry for intake and tracking, and learning basic jewelry repair, beginning with polishing and quality control. Candidates with basic jewelry or repair knowledge are welcome, and candidates with a passion and desire to learn the trade will also be considered. The team focuses on providing a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• Customer-service orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and manage time.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work consists of a 40-hour work week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Some knowledge of jewelry or jewelry repair/design.
