About The Position

This position supports the Prohibition Bar by ensuring that necessary supplies are available to the bars and service wells, and by assisting guests and fellow Team Members. The role includes bar opening and closing support, drink preparation and service, order processing, and maintaining appropriate inventory and responsible alcohol service practices. The position requires frequent interaction with Guests and Team Members and may involve working in unusually hot, cold, noisy areas or areas with secondhand smoke.

Requirements

• Ability to read and speak English and communicate effectively in written and verbal form with Guests, Team Members, and Management.
• Understand and comply with company, departmental, and Gaming Control Board rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Team Members and Guests.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Company Service Standards.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking garnishes, straws, napkins, towels, glasses, ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
• Communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
• Take orders, prepare drinks, bus tables, open tabs, and process payments, especially during peak business hours.
• Accurately ring up orders in the POS system while maintaining the ability to socialize with guests.
• Follow responsible alcohol service standards, including slowing service to a guest or cutting off an intoxicated guest when necessary.
• Maintain records and report usage levels to assist with reordering.
• Ensure delivered items are stored properly.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents within designated areas and in accordance with policy.
